Check out a range of portfolio projects I’ve recently completed below.. Please see the descriptions to see what my role was in the project and process.

A Tribute to Billy Birmingham from “The 12th Man”

A very cool project I’ve been working on with an old friend and super talented Errol Steinback Ekka! Being a cricket tragic myself, and past player, I couldn’t miss the chance to make our very own tribute to the 12th Man, which has been a bucket list project idea for a long time now! It drops this Saturday morning on YouTube! DM me for the link

This is a heartfelt tribute to the legendary 12th man, Billy Birmingham, and his hilarious legacy. Inspired by our own Queensland Churches XI team, plays a one-off match against a Sri Lankan touring team! Inspired by 20 years of National Carnivals and the camaraderie amongst our players.

Written and scripted by voice actor and comedian Errol ‘Ekka’ Steinback, and produced, mixed and mastered by Nathan ‘Woody’ Woodrow, we’ve poured our hearts into this and hope it does justice to Billy B.’s humour. We’ve both loved every moment of creating this over the past 3 months, and if it brings even one smile to your face, our mission is more than accomplished. Enjoy!

Jessie Robins “Last Night” Cover And Video!

It’s been a few years at least since I last worked with the super talented singer songwriter Jessie Robins, but we recently reconnected to record a cover track ‘Last Night’ by Morgan Wallen. After deciding on the key, I pulled out the guitar and put down the rhythm and riff tracks, which came out pretty decent.

Jessie dropped in to lay the vocals down and we had a great catch up! Over the next few days, I worked on the post production, edit and master, and we were both really happy with the results. Jessie got a great music video clip done which looks great and goes really well with the track.

We’re anticipating a great response from the clip, and we’ll be doing some more tracking over the next month or so on a bunch of new track releases, so Jessie Robins is definitely a name worth looking out for on the local Brisbane music circuit.

3D Medieval Weapons Room Scene

Below is a 3D scene I created in a group with Lachlan Skerman, and Michael Morgan whereby I designed all the weapons, barrels, cooling unit, and the room in general. I created all the models, texturing and UV mapping in Maya, using Photoshop to create the actual texturing files. We uploaded the scene to sketchfab so its viewable online.

“FIGHT JUICE” TV AD

Below is a hypothetical tv ad for a can of drink called “Fight Juice” I completed in 2022 as a university project. I was supplied with the footage however I created the graphics, put together the edit, all the sound FX, soundtrack and colour grade.

FIGHT SCENE “THE PUNISHER”

Below is an individual project, and is an edit of some fight footage provided to myself. I created the sequence and storyline, sound FX and visual FX. The footage is from a locally produced movie to be called “Borderline” and emulates from the movie “The Punisher”.

“LOST LOVE” FILM CLIP EDIT

Below is the ‘Lost Love’ film clip edited by myself in 2022. I was supplied with all footage and the audio tracks. I had a heap of fun with all the creative freedom on this one, selecting clips and how the footage was to be seen and colour graded. The song was called ‘Lost Love’ by James Miller.

“DOLLARS AND SENSE” TV AD EDIT

Yes a bit of a corny one, but still had a lot of fun doing it. A hypothetical and fictional tv ad for some “Dollars and Sense” products. I completed in 2022 as a university project. I was supplied with the footage, graphics and backing track. It wasn’t a difficult one but I put together the edit, sound FX, soundtrack and colour grade.

“CAMSPLAINING” VIDEO CAMERA TUTORIAL

Below is an edit of an informational video laced with humour about an arrogant, sexist lecturer completely unaware of his attitude and demeanour. I was provided all clips and audio, along with a script and timeline. Whilst I was given the sequence in terms of what was required to be shown, I had creative freedom on which shots to use, and colour grade.
